1. Try having a conversation with someone in person. If nobody is around, try going to a coffee shop, a shopping center, a park, or other location where people may be available to talk. Some ice breakers include:
“How about that Rams game last night?”
“Are you looking forward to Thanksgiving?”
“Where were you when Facebook was down?”
2. Read a book. If you don’t have any lying around, there are several “libraries” at various locations in Southern California with a wide variety of books on whatever topic you can think of. There are also “newspapers” available that you can buy for as little as 50 cents.
3. Dig out your old photo albums. If you have the urge to “like” them, markers are available at the local store. Where you will be able to have a conversation with someone in person. (See #1.)
